Living With Passion & Purpose

Our Story

Living Design Studios grew out of the European tradition of generational craftsmanship, dedicated to manifesting the vision of others into metalwork. Our founder’s journey began with a deep love of the studio arts. In art school, Jessica Adams discovered that her dedication to quality fabrication stood in contrast to a focus on bold statements and fleeting novelty. Seeking an education rooted in traditional techniques and timeless aesthetics, she traveled to France to complete a formal apprenticeship. Upon returning to the United States, she began focusing on copper repousse and bronze casting. Settling in Boulder, Colorado, Jessica started Living Design in 1994, working out of her home.

As word spread about her design and uncompromising craftsmanship, demand quickly outpaced what she could manage alone. With each new team member, the company expanded in both scale and capability. Jonathan Falk — a General Contractor, accomplished carpenter, and friend since high school — began assisting with installations, and the partnership proved transformative. In 2004, Jonathan officially joined as a partner, propelling the company into its next chapter of growth.

Over the decades, their shared philosophy of quality over quantity has cultivated a loyal client base and positioned Living Design Studios as a trusted partner on some of the country’s most demanding residential and commercial projects.

Through an exceptional team, enduring client relationships, and a relentless commitment to excellence, Living Design Studios continues to push boundaries — elevating the art of architectural and ornamental metalwork for generations to come.
