This collaborative event brings together construction professionals from across the industry to recognize, support, and elevate women while strengthening relationships and fostering connections.

The Keynote Speaker, Keller Hayes, shared about founding the Transportation and Construction GIRL program to increase young women’s awareness of careers in these industries. She developed mentoring, shadowing, and career exploration events.

One of the biggest takeaways from the event was that many girls are simply not aware of the career opportunities available in the trades.

It’s up to all of us to open our shop doors, invite girls in, and show them the possibilities that exist in the world of architectural and ornamental metalwork.
