Patina/Sealant Note: The beauty of metal patinas and finishes lies in their unpredictable and uncontrollable nature.  Patinas should be thought of like stain on wood.  The texture and quality of the metal will show through the patina and be part of the character of the finished product.  While Living Design Studios, Inc will do its best to ensure the final finish matches the samples, the client acknowledges and accepts that the final finish may vary from the sample, may appear different on a larger scale, may include irregular marks or patterns, and may change over time.  Ambient chlorine from pools or application of ice-melting salts may cause accelerated oxidation.  Areas where metal is handled regularly may develop a polish from hand oils.  Different alloys and types of metals may have different tones and will age differently from one another.
