Dairy Block

The historic site that was once home to Windsor Dairy is now a vibrant gathering hot-spot in downtown Denver! This space ranges from shops, restaurants, cafes, and a hotel.  The 60’ tall screen is made of 2 layers of waterjet cut thick plate. The design concept was initiated by the architect who allowed modifications from LDSI to meet budgetary and engineering specifications.  High winds and ice storms made engineering the greatest challenge, requiring all parts be aluminum for weight reduction. From the exterior facade ramping above the main entrance, to the exposed steel walls dividing the interior partitions, to the seamless walls encompassing the elevator, LDSI helped in the delivery of this one of a kind social space.
